WEEK 2 LECTURE

On second week lecture, we have start our first lecture.

first topic we learn is "The Nature Of Strategic Management", what I have learned is the strategic management has three stages which is about formulating, implementing (also called as the action stage) and evaluating cross-functional decisions ( reviewing an external and internal environment).

The key terms in strategic management are divided into two section which is Competitive advantage and Strategists. Competitive advantage is anything that a firm does especially well compared to rival firms, while the strategists are the individuals who are most responsible for the success or failure of an organization.

There are also three hierarchical levels of strategic management which is corporate, divisional and strategic business unique and functional

second topic we have learn is "The Business Vision and Mission". Vision is what do you want to become in the future? and the mission is how are you going to achieve your vision?

The one most incredible things that i have learn in this lecture is regarding the synergy methods which is 1+1=3. It is brings the meaning of the cooperation of two person will bring three outcome. It is good to know this matter because it makes me feel great of learning new things.
